Daughtry "Over You"

The List

Breakups can be tough. Getting over someone can be even tougher. Often times the progress takes months and even years for some people. When you finally reach the point when you are over your ex it is a huge relief and you may feel like a weight has been lifted off your shoulders. You can feel the freedom coming back to you and for once it feels good to be single. If you are experiencing any of these things take a look at the list below to see if you are really over your ex.*

*This is intended to be humorous and not an actual example of "getting over" someone, use at your own discretion

10. You've taken his face off the dartboard and although it looks like its been through a war, you still want to trash it.

9. You pack away all of the things he gave you, or left with you into a box and place it in a far and hidden place.

8. Even better yet you throw the box away with no feelings of remorse. 7. Better than throwing the box away you burn the box and when the fire department comes to investigate you use this as an opportunity to meet men.

6. The thought of him with another girl doesn't bother you anymore in fact you kind of feel a strange sympathy for her, as if you and her will share some inexplicable bond only known to women who have survived the "hurricane" known as your ex.

5.You've stopped trying to read his profile on Facebook or Myspace even though he has you blocked. (Your friends will appreciate you not using their accounts for this purpose anymore)

4. You've stopped trying to run into his friends to get updates on him. You now realize they were his friends, not yours.

3. Your "route" home no longer includes his street.

2. You've stopped drunken dialing him

1. You can look at other guys without thinking they are the scum of the universe and how you would like to squash them with your boot. In fact some of them appear dateable, some of them.
