the Army is not paying people

the army aint paying my brother

The army stop paying my brother because he his time up to get out. He is in Afganastain fighting for the United States and he not geting paid. This is not right. Well I heard onetime from the news that this happened to a guy that was in the army in Iraq and he came back to the U.S. and didnt get paid while he was in another country. That man found out that this happened to many people befor. My brother friend where he is at now is having the same trouble. My brother told his sarget today and he said he will work on this.

This is not Right. The Army is ripping people off

Hey umm to get people to sign up the Army gives them a bonus of $30,000 and now men and women have lost their eye sight or broken a bone in their bone the army is saying they want some of that money back. This isn't right.

Ok like all of my brothers are like injured from being in the army but the army doesnt care if they are hurt they just send them along to another country where they could get more killed. Sometimes I hate the goverment and all because all of this.

This is Danielle mother and No the problem hasnt been resolved. No body has fixed it and I want the world to know that my son is in a combat zone. Not even in the military computer and if something happens to him he has no benefits, no pay, his wife is doing without money and his stuff he has been making payments on is about to get repoed because of this mess up.

I feel for you and your family and every soldier in this situation. I was recently working abroad for a job that didn't pay me. I can only imagine if the job had required me to remain in a hostile and violent situation where I was threatened with death and injury both physical and mental.

It is abhorrent how our country has let down our soldiers and their families. I have heard one in four homeless people in our country is a veteran. I don't think there is a person in our country who is not in some way affected by this issue. Remember the same people that are stripping our soldiers of their benefits abroad are the same people that are stripping away the rights they are fighting to defend. This is important when we come up to the coming election to remember this not just for president but for Senate. This isn't a partisan attack both parties are responsible but we need to make people aware of whats going on because this affects all Americans.

My husband is in the Army. The Army promised him a $20,000 bonus which they have not paid! It has been three months with no answers. Everyone keeps on saying it's coming soon. All of the people in his unit have already received their bonus. Everyone except my husband. Not only did they not pay his bonus, but the lowered his BAH for no reason!

I have to say the army is horrible about paying you. When i first got in a guy i went to basic with did not get paid for 4 months and had to go AWOL to get a job. When i failed out of Special Forces selection and reclassed to EOD they tryed to take my bonus away and i had to fight tooth and nail. EOD has a larger bonus than SF anyhow. Now i just got back from 15 months disarming bombs in Afghanistan and some asshole at finance typed in that we got back in 07 instead of 08 so our whole unit on block leave spending time with their familys durring the hollidays is getting paid $0 because the army thinks we collected hazard pay for a year we were not deployed. The worst part is if they do not pay you you cant just quit if you do they will throw you in jail. The army thinks its ok to just pay you back when they get around to it months down the line but that doesnt help your house and car payments or give you money for your family to live on.

This is a bigger problem than what I thought it was. My son recently back from Afghanistan is still waiting for his bonus pay also, with the same response,"We're looking into it". BS !!! I'm going to do my homework on this,...It appears to be an issue that seriously needs to be addressed and spokin about. The Troop's are underpaid as it is,..And not to be paid is shamefull and disgracefull !!!
