The Best Trail Mix Snack Bar
The best snack bar on the market is the Nature Valley chewy trail mix fruit and nut bar with almonds, raisins, peanuts, and cranberries. It's 140 calories of pure deliciousness. From the moment you open the wrapper you tell this is going to be a great treat. This trail mix snack measure about 4 inches x 1 inch in size and it its packed with other goodies like oats, rice crispies, peanuts and sunflower seeds.
Once you open the wrapper you cannot help but immediately salivate over it. Your mind is saying "I have to each this trail mix bar now!" And without even knowing it you have taken a bite. When the mix of flavors hits your tastebuds you are pleasantly surprised at the balance of flavors this chewy snack has. It's not hard and crunchy like alot of granola bars are. It's very chewy and a bit more moist than alot of its competition. I was drawn to flavor of honey that is also added to the mix of fruit and nut.

20 ways to save money in an economic recession 1. Buy on Craigslist. Often a great deal can be had and you can save money by buying a used item from a seller on craigslist instead of something new. ...
As far as packaging goes the snack bars can be purchased in the 2 pack
and the 6 pack. But the drawback of this is that what you pay for 6 of
these chewy nut bars you can get the 10 pack of the regular crunchy
granola bars for the same price. The 2-pack will cost you about $2 and
the 6 pack will cost you about $4.50 on average. I would gladly pay the
premium to have the this snack bar as I consume about 2 of these per
day in between meals. I find that they are great for satisfying a sweet
tooth without all the calories of a typical candy bar.
When
counting carbs or total carbs like diabetics have to, this snack mix
bar will count as about 1.5 carb points. A carb point is one point for
every 15g of total carbs. So for example if you have have if you look
on the nutritional chart on the back of the package and the total carbs
reads 30 then that equals out to 2 carb points. The typical diabetic
may be placed on a diet by a physicaian of about 18 carb points per day
at around 2000 calories. However this bar contains sugars and diabetics
are normally prevented from any sugar intake unless they are facing low
blood sugar levels. So I would not recommend this item necessarily for
a diabetic.
