Finding the best way to lose belly fat isn't always easy because there is so much information about and much of it is conflicting. There are some experts telling you to do one thing, another expert saying you need to do something else. Then there are all the adverts about fat burning pills that promise you'll lose a huge amount of fat in days without doing anything.

It can be very confusing for many people and all they want is to lose their belly fat. Perhaps you're sick and tired of looking in the mirror and seeing your belly fat wobbling back at you or feel uncomfortable in clothes because you don't feel attractive while you're carrying this excess fat. Let me share with you the best way to lose belly fat, that doesn't include harmful pills or difficult restrictive diets.

Ab crunches aren't the answer.

A mistake people make when trying to lose belly fat is to do hundreds or perhaps even thousands of ab crunches thinking this will give them a flat tummy. Although these ab crunches may be working the muscles underneath, for most people that have belly fat to lose there is still a layer of fat on top of these muscles. Until this layer of fat is burnt up, you will still see a fat stomach.

Fat burning workouts

To lose the fat on your stomach you need to be doing exercise that stimulates your bodies ability to burn fat. Any form of exercise is better than nothing, so if at the moment all you feel capable of is doing some short walks, then great start there and get going. If you feel ready for a bit more and want to dramatically step up the fat burning capability in your body then there are some workouts that will do this for you. Ideally, you want to be looking for workouts that include some resistance training, that means using some weights and interval training. Interval training is where you suddenly push your body to its limits just for a very short time.

Stop dieting!

Diets don't work. They are too restrictive and leave you feeling deprived. When you feel deprived it becomes a huge struggle and hard to stick to. Its no wonder then that many people give up on a diet and are still carrying excess weight and fat with them. So, what can you do? Making sure that you're eating plenty of healthy and nutritious foods is an essential step in losing belly fat. If you're eating unhealthy foods most of the time, these will contain high amounts of bad fats, sugars and salt. All of which can cause health problems and they certainly restrict your ability to burn fat. Switching your eating habits to be healthier means that you'll consume much less of these foods each day, so you're more likely to burn fat. Also, eating the right foods can help you considerably to burn more fat.

Changing your eating habits doesn't have to be done in one go. In fact one of the best ways to change to eating healthier is to make smaller changes and one at a time. Once of of these changes has easily been incorporated into your daily routine then make another one. This is a much more successful way of losing fat and keeping it off..
