* Dry skin. The skin has a flaking appearance.

* Combination type. This is the type of skin that is a partly oily and partly dry. There are particular places that are oily while others are dry.

You would need to thoroughly evaluate your skin so that you ascertain the type before you can go for make ups. We are not going to go through the details of how you can do this but just as a by the way, you would need to check hormones, health, lifestyle, climate and other factors that determine skin type.

It is important that you get to know which make up is most recommended for your skin type. At least because you know what your skin type is, you would be able to get the right make up. There are three types that you would need to look for. These are the right foundation, concealer and powder.

1. Oily skin

This skin type requires foundation that does not have oil since it is already shinning. There is need to be cautious on how you apply this foundation. The brush has to be used and if possible a damp facial sea sponge to be used for blending it.

There are blemishes that would appear on this type of skin. These blemishes are what you would be aiming to hide. So, the formula tube that is light in texture should be used for this purpose.

To complete the procedure, you would need to have loose powder for this skin type. There is likelihood of the skin having large pores and this kind of powder will not be stored on these pores.

2. Dry skin

The best foundation for a skin that looks flaky is that which promises to moisturize it. The same would also apply for concealers. You would need just those that are creamy so that the skin is moisturized. Finally, you need to use powder that is pressed so that is blots the effects of the creamy foundation and concealer.

3. Normal skin

You are fortunate as you have no major skin issues. You can use absolutely any kind of foundation or make up. You may only need to get a concealer once in a while when you experience blemishes on your skin. However, you would need to use loose powder so that you maintain the no make up look.

4. Combination skin

You would need to be keen on the kind of make up that you use. For instance, you would need a foundation that can help you moisturize the dry areas and also tone the oily areas. You need to conceal blemishes with any cover cream. You may need to use loose powder and dwell on the T-zone.
