Mental health

The brain is a muscle just like the heat or the biceps, you need to train it to maintain its power and efficiency. Training the brain requires the usuage of the brain, although you use your brain while watching T.V, you are only using a small portion of your brain but with say... doing rapid maths problems your mind would be summoning a lot its brainly power to solve it.

  1. You can train your brain effectively by doing puzzles like sudoku, chess, checkers.
  2. Reading books can train the creative and literature portion of your brain. Although reading something like Mr.Men for a 20 year old won't do as it won't stimulate them to think hard so get a good book like Angels and Demon by Dan Brown or the Obernewtyn series by Isobelle Carmody or the eragon cycle by Christopher Paolini.
  3. A good way is with Brain age 1 and 2 and big brain academy on the nitendo ds, they give you different excersises to do that specifically made to target the whole of your brain.
  4. Try doing different routines instead of the same each day to stimulate your mind brushing your teeth with your left hand if your right handed.
  5. Try to playing games with your friend when making a card trick that he's wrong.
  6. Eat good foods that the brain can use instead of junk food which cause the brain to go into hyperactivity mode, fish oil with Omeg-3 can help encourage mental development.

Physical health

Physical health comprises of eyes, hands, feet and all those other body parts. Physical health has to maintained regularly or else they slowly but surely work less better.

Excersise

Excersise may be tedious and maybe boring but there are ways to go around this.

-Don't think of excercise as excerise, think it as fun like playing football or cricket.

-You could do weights or other fitness equipments while watching the television

-Try walking as much as you can instead of taking the car or bus or train

-Take breaks apart from straining your eyes to burn, watching the T.V or staring at the computor for too long, it strains your eyes and makes you feel lazy.

-Take a hot shower i mean "hot bath," hot to the point that you can't stay in one place without feeling the burn so try moving left and right to allow the heat to spread evenly, turn the heat lower if you can't handle it even when you are moving. This helps give you a calm relaxing sense of mind and also helps make your body work more meaning burning energy and fat while getting muscles (maybe its just me for the muscle bit).

-Excercise is needed with a good portion of healthy foods to get your immune system stronger while providing your body with good energy and nutrients.

-Drink enough water to flush through your body, if you are thirsty you know you need to drink.

-Don't fall for the weight-loss gimicks, natural is better.

Ways to improve immune system

People are getting sick and others seem perfectly fine, what are the ways to keep our immunity strong againist diseases that are contagious and non-contagious. Heres some of the ways to boost your immune system.

1.Eat vegetables and fruits, greens are the ones that help you fight cancer, greens like brocolli, cauliflower (even though its not green), spinach, boc choii etc. fruits and vegetables provide essential nutrients to boost your energy and immune system.

2.Calcium is proven to prevent cancers by 23% compared to those with low calcium, so drink a lot of milk and eat a lot of cheese but not too much.

3.Drink plenty of water, dehydration can cause headaches, bloody noses and thirst.

4.Drink lemon or other acidic fruits, helps makes your stomach acid more acidic killing bacteria more easily.

5.Get enough sleep so your body can rest and revitilise itself to protect you from bacteria, clear your mind, improve mood etc.

6.Indulge your self with fun and pampering like a hot bath, massage, seeing a movie.

7.Eat herbs

8.Excerise, getting sick boosts your immune system eventually

Eye training

Eyes are what need to see, without we are almost helpless so we need to take care of it. People are increasingly wearing glasses partly due eye strain from the ever growing technology like T.V, computors, ipods and moblie phones. Heres are some things you need to know to get your eye back to tip-top shape.

-Take breaks from computors, T.V and books  every 15-20 minutes and walk about and look at different environments to allow your eyes to adjust.

-Use 'sight training' game on the nintendo ds to help you improve eye co-ordination

-Eat good foods, a healthly body means a more healthly eye.

-Wearing glasses worsens your sight, so try not to wear them since glasses doesn't allow the muscles surrounding the lens of the eye (lens is not the the glasses' lens) becomes lazy making it more blury.

Dental health

-Brush regularly 2 times a day or more, once at day and once at night, brush after eating breakfeast (usually people brush before eating...).

-Try avoid eating acidic foods and drinks like cola, lemons, if you do then eat something neutral like bread or drink milk.

-Floss your teeth reguarly once a day, helps get plaque away, brushing cannot reach the bits between your teeth most of the time.

-Drink milk and eat cheese for calcium and drink fluroide added water, although fluriode when swallowed is bad so thats the dilemma.

Ear health

-Don't put on headphones

-Don't expose yourself to loud noise or music

-Clean your ears of wax
