my thoughts about racism

Living in the twenty first century it's hard to believe that racism is still such an issue. Watching the news and all the talk about the presidential election it seems race and gender are the main topics, and it's driving me crazy. So Obama is black and Hilary is a white women, I mean is this country still so ignorant that we have to pick out the details of race an gender, instead of the important facts.

I truly  am proud to have grown up in eighties and nineties because it has giving me such a different out look towards people. I love that our country is so full of culture and diversity. I love walking down the street and meeting different types of people, people from other countries and cultures, people of different color and beliefs.

It drives me crazy that people in our modern world still diminish and look down upon those of a different race. People it' time to wake up! Those of you who are too blind are missing whats happening in our world, we are creating evolution with the rich mix of cultures in this modern world. I mean take a look around; some of the most intelligent and beautiful people in the world come from interracial families. I think the fact that we are unknowingly changing the once racial standards is wonderful.

The racial evolution is here and growing each day, I think it's time to stop and truly smell the roses here people. No longer should we be living in a world of separation, we have to see that good things come when opposites attract. So I ask you the next time you think or say something racist about someone else, I want you to remember by separating one person out you are truly separating your self from the new world, a world full of color, culture and diversity.

Amen to that! People are truly separating themselves from the world when they discriminate against others.

Thanks so much for writing this, the world tends not to listen when a minority says it, so its time for others to stand up!
