Simon and Garfunkel are among the most popular American recording artist in the 1960s. The duo Paul Simon and Arthur Garfunkel are best known for their eternal songs, "The Sound of Silence", "Mrs Robinson", "Bridge Over Troubled Water" , "The Boxer" among their many hits.

They have received several Grammys and are inductees of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In 2004 Rolling Stone ranked Simon and Garfunkel No. 40 on their list of the 100 Greatest Artist of all time, in 2007 they received the Long Island Music Hall of Fame.

Simon and Garfunkel have reunited on several concerts since their 1970 breakup. "The Concert in the Park" in 1981 have attracted about 500,000 people. In 2003 Simon and Garfunkel are back on the road , put aside their differences and joined each other at their 40 date coast to coast 2003 "Old Friends " tour.


I am a Simon and Garfunkel fan, I grew up with their music, for me, their songs will never grow old. Their music have incredible power, it really touches the soul, it reaches deep. After all these years I still play them and it brought back so many memories, their songs seems to take you back in time.
