A new technology for the hubers

Compain launched in november 19th, Jeff Bezos made out a very powerfull tool for the literature world.

Amazon Kindle is a revolutionary portable reader that wirelessly downloads books, newspapers, magazines and blogs to a crisp, high-resolution electronic paper display that looks and reads like real paper, even in bright sunlight; with the price of $399.

The aim is to reach the same success made by Apple in the music world via " ipod " and its huge online store "i tunes", Amazon kindle uses the latest technology, able to connect to the internet via an integrated mobile broadband connection, keyboard and a huge storage, for only 310 grammes weight.

88 000 books and a Dozen of press articles are already available and downloadable directly from the official siteweb of the Books seller leader on the internet.

Position in the market

"DRM" is the digital file format of the "Amazon kindle", it comes to compet the "PDF" adobe files, so the files can't be read in other readers ; like Sony reader. The kindle can read also text files or images in word format, HTML, TXT, JPEG, GIF & PNG.

Google News is currently showing more than 500 articles on the 10-ounce device; and still Big companies and news papers are joining.

Jeff Bezos noted that the initial inventory sold out in five and a half hours, though the company hopes to quickly replenish stocks in the coming days.

Futur vision

it s already confessed that Amazon will change the map of the literature with the price of only 399 $; Even though,Amazon promises not to stop selling physical books any time soon, but Bezos said that "it doesn't make any sense to me that printing our books on dead trees is the final evolution of books.
