The Beast

The anti-Christ is a figure whose identity is shrouded in mystery. Much misinformation about the subject of the anti-Christ abounds. There is a misconception about the anti-Christ being an individual. This is unscriptural. The “anti-Christ” is a system and an ideology which has had many representatives over time. Presently there are many anti-Christs operating in the world (2nd John 1:7).
In the religion of Islam, the anti-Christ is known in ‘Arabic as Ad Dajjal (“the Imposter”). The gematria of Ad Dajjal is 69. The number 69 represents the sign of Cancer. Cancer corresponds to The Chariot trump in the Book of Tarot. The charioteer is the hard hearted Pharaoh of Moses’ day Exodus (9:9-12). The Chariot Trump signifies egocentricity, a stubborn will, and pride. Wicked Pharaoh –the Great Dragon- exemplified these qualities and typifies the Beast (Ezekiel 29:3).
The 9 is an inverted 6, and represents the counterfeit world of Satan which opposes God and the Righteous. The world of Satan is the exact polar opposite of the Kingdom of God. This illusory, transitory world is a veritable “house of cards” whose foundation is built on lies. The minions of Satan (those whose livelihoods subsist on falsehood and deception) are they who would entertain a lie rather than hear the Truth of God. Those whose lives subsist on the lie will not willingly cede their power.
Although the Hebrew word for “prophet” (Ve Nabiy’), as found in 1st Kings 13:11 has the gematria of 69, we know that the anti-Christ will be a false prophet. He will be exposed, but his aim is to infect as many as possible with his false teaching (2nd Thessalonians 2:1-2).
Satan’s end is nigh at hand. He has stepped up his campaign to steal, kill, and destroy. We have a duty, an obligation, and a responsibility to seek out Truth (1st Thessalonians 5:21). Upon hearing the Truth we are held accountable for it. We do not have the luxury of being uninformed because our soul is at stake.
