America needs a NEW stimulus package designed to create middle class jobs

After all the spending bailing out the crooks in the banks and on Wall Street the country is still in recession.  Unemployment continues to go up each month.  Obama and his minions tell us we have turned the corner, what corner?  Without jobs the economy will NOT recover!  Let me review for those who watch FOX news – Americans can’t spend money they don’t have driving the economy forward if they don’t have middle class jobs that provide disposable income.  If you still don’t get this point you are probably a Republican.

Our government wasted $700 billion in TARP funds by giving it to the CEOs of the banks and the Wall Street firms, run by crooks.  None of that taxpayer money ever reached those who needed it, it went to bonuses for millionaires at AIG, for bonuses at Goldman and $78 billion is missing.

How many jobs could have been create or saved if we spent the TARP money creating jobs?

This isn’t rocket science.  One billion dollars pays for 25,000, $40,000 per year jobs.  Got that?  So let’s do the math $10 billion pays for 250,000 jobs and $100 billion pays for 2.5 million jobs.  Let’s make those jobs 3 year jobs by multiplying by 3.  So for those who have trouble keeping up, FOX News watchers; we have created 2.5 million jobs for three years, each job pays $40,000 per year.  The cost is $300 billion.  If you didn’t get this far, go back to the beginning of this paragraph and begin again, if you are a Republican stop reading and tune in FIXED NEWS.

Congress created a $700 billion dollar fund (TARP) to help America recover from the economic failure caused by the massive financial fraud committed by the banks and Wall Street.  This money was given to the CEOs of the banks and Wall Street firms that committed the fraud.  None of it went to create or save jobs these crooks destroyed.

If we took $300 billion of the $700 billion and handed it to the poorest communities and school districts in GRANTS to create and save jobs for teachers, firemen, policemen and social workers it would have pumped money into the economy and helped the recovery by providing 2.5 million jobs.  It would also have created 2.5 million consumers buying goods and services in their communities and paying taxes.

Now take the above and multiply times 2, using $600 billion for this jobs program and you have 5 million, $40,000 per year jobs, funded for three years.   

But the fat cat crooks didn’t want jobs they wanted their billions lost in shady deals refunded to them by the taxpayers.

We need to stop running America “of, by and for the rich and greedy” and start doing things that help us all.  No more money for the banks and Wall Street. 

We screwed it up the first time around.  Now we need to fund a real stimulus plan and create the 5 million jobs, at $40,000 per year for 3 years, so the economy can get a kick start and begin to grow again.  These 5 million new workers will pay taxes, but goods and service and create additional jobs in their communities.  

Yes it will cost $600 billion, but we have the money to do this and we should do it NOW.
