AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What happens when your 8 year old daughter, we won`t mention any names Jennifer or Jenny when i`m not angry, takes it apon herself to redecorate her room without telling anyone?.
All of you parents out there know the 1 drawing all over the walls, ink all over the bed clothes and pyjama`s,oh and her hair ,her face her mouth, the windows have been covered too, and to top it all the pen that burst has been trampled into her brand spanking 2 weeks old pink carpet.
That`s not all, no thats just the start of it, her piggy bank is broken glass on the floor, her curtain rail has been pulled from the window, and her toys are all over the place some with ink and others not.
the amazing thing about this is it all happened in the space of half an hour whilst i was cooking dinner, and it was all done in silence ,I never heard a thing.
In answer to the question what do you do?
1st you panic, then you start ranting and raving then you start the clean up operation ranting and raving as you go,then when you have the room as good as you can get ink marks and blotches still there ofcourse.
The punishment
1 She has been in bed since 6pm.
2 the scools are on holiday for a week and she is grounded until school goes back .
3 she gets to do the dishes everyday until the grounding is over.
4 i am too soft with her and i will cave in an let her out to play with her friends tomorrow.
Thankyou all for listening to me lol if anyone has any tips to get ink out of cotton and carpet i would really appreciate it........ jimmy

I don't know if it will work after going through the dryer, but ink can be removed with milk. Pour a small amount of milk in a bowl. Rinse area in the milk. The milk will get inky. Pour it out and repeat with a fresh bowl of milk. Repeat till no more ink comes out. Rinse in cold water then wash as usual. I have used this method for years and it works.
as they say here.. have a nice day
thanx drax will give it a try...jimmy
1. Buy roll of white butcher paper.
2. Install holder above child's head level.
3. Tell child that artwork is great and should be done on the paper whenever the mood strikes.
4. Roll out new paper when blank space is full.

Hey Jimmy, My father had a great punishment for us. It's so simple and effective. When we misbehaved, our punishment was to spend more time with him. He would tell us, I must not have shown you how to be a good person, therefore, you will spend all day with me doing what I do, and I'll show you how a good person behaves. Depending on how big the error, the more days we had to spend side by side with him. He would do things like work in the yard, run errands and cook. All the while we would be right with him pitching in. I think I'll make a Hub on my father's parenting...
