House warming gift

One of your friends is moving into their first house or apartment and you have no idea what to get them for a house warming present.

You want to get them something different a toaster ,a kettle, dishes and cutlery are out of the question as every one and their brother buys these things for them.

Think practical what are they going to need the most,something that will ge alot of use,and something that no one else will think of.

My idea started when i was about 17 and i have used it whenever my friends move home,and the reponse is always positive. and the great thing about it is it doesn't cost alot.

so what is my idea? ok i will tell you. buy a mop and bucket,fill the bucket with cloths,polish bleach,tooth brushes, tooth paste,soap and any other cleaning items that you can think of,a very practical gift full of things that people often forget to buy when they move house.

you could also do this for a wedding present buying things week by week in with your normal shopping list.
