A National Icon
Forget whisky for a second Scotland has another national drink called Irn Brew,it isn't an alcoholic drink though, just your everyday fizzy drink, more of this stuff is sold in Scotland than Coke,I can,t describe the flavour but it is fantastic, if you ever get the chance you should give it a try.
below you will find two advertising video's from Irn Brew they are very funny.
hope you enjoy.....jimmy

thanks livelonger,i have never heard of kinnie is it a soft drink or an alcoholic drink.....jimmy
It's a soft drink, not alcoholic. Similar to Orange Crush or other orange sodas, except a little less sweet, brownish, and with a nice bitterness that takes a while to get used to, but really tastes great.
I think San Pellegrino makes something similar called Chinotto but I haven't tried that yet.
iron bru is tastey

The first is cute, the second HILARIOUS!
One regional drink I really love is Kinnie, from Malta. It's a bitter orange drink.
