you submit your site or story and members of each community rate it by either saving(del) digging(digg) or giving it a point(red).
and the more digs points or saves you have the more popular your story is.
but when you submit a story to reddit or del.icio.us and then go to look at your story on the new page it is never there so if it isn't there how can people give it points,yet stories submitted at the same time as your story are there plain for all to see.
digg on the other hand you can track your story by checking your profile page,and click on the topic you have posted in where you can then click on up coming stories and see your story there.
I have tried reddit, I have tried del.icio.us and i find it difficult to understand, from now on I think I will stick with digg,at least I know where I stand there.

That's exactly the point! Are those sites being mean to HubPages or...? I was starting to get paranoid that I might have done something wrong and got burried by those sites or something.
I understand reddit, but I haven't seen any traffic from them to my hubs, blogs, or websites. I attempted to sign up with del, but never got my email to complete the process. I've found with digg, I see the traffic. Plus, it's an appealing website in general, whereas reddit is just white without options, from what I can tell. Plus with reddit, I don't understand the karma points. Is it from people reading your articles submitted? I've had decent luck with stumbleupon, until i apparently added to much of my own stuff, and it hasn't let me upload anything for two weeks.

Thank You!! I was thinking it was just me - couldn't work out where the new stories were on reddit & del. - very confusing - I'm not sure if anyone read my posts - but Digg is easy - and I know people read the posts there because they post comments!
