THE QUESTION IS: HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO BECOME PREGNANT?
THE ANSWER: AS LONG AS IT TAKES.
Seriously no one could give you an answer to that question,some people become pregnant the very first time they try and it takes up to five years for others.
In my case I will never get pregnant no matter how long I try because I am a male although in my wife alison's case I've been told I just need to look at her the wrong way and out pops a baby, but It isn't as much fun and isn`t really effective just looking at someone.
If it takes longer than 2 years and you still aren't pregnant you and your partner should pay a visit to a doctor for infertility testing, and he/she will advise you on the best way forward from there.
the best advice that i can give though is to come off any contraception don`t worry about making babies and just get on enjoying your love life and what happens ,happens when it happens.

Actually two years is way too long to wait before getting tested. The rule of thumb is one year if you're under 35 and only 6 months if you're over 35.

I will say as a mother that the act of being pregnant was wonderful. there is no feeling like it.
