525 good chards for under 10 dollars!
The Zen of Chardonnay!
or...5 great bottles of Chardonnay for under 10 bucks~
If you are a winey or Chard fan, you need to try these awesomely great Chardonnays for under 10 bucks (depending on where you shop or live!!)
1. Peregrine Hill-from Ft Stockton, TX (yes, Texas!) Really buttery and tastes like an expensive wine!
2. Camelot-from Cali-good for a wine tasting! Buttery, with hints of spice! Don't tell your guests it cost you 5.99 on sale!
3. Alice White-from Aussie land-great bang for the buck! You can't go wrong with this one, if you are on a tight budget!
4. Frontera-Concha Y Toro-from Chile!-Has a peppery bite to it, but, leave it in the fridge after opening for a few hours and it'll surprise you!
5. St. Geneuvive-Ft Stockton, TX-2 liters for the price of one, elsewhere! AND great taste! YEEHAWWW!
5 more great bottles of Chardonnay for someone who wants to spend more than ten bucks....
1. Benzinger-(I think that's how you spell it!)-From Cali-SMMOOOOTH!
2. La Crema-from Cali-Owned and run by all LADIES, beautiful glass of wine!
3. Becker Vineyards-from Texas-Talk politics and gossip over this one!
4. Virgin-Yes, from the famed Virgin Airlines dude!-It's a screwtop and tastes like a 40 dollar bottle!
5. Anything from Russian River Valley, Cali-pricey, but, worth the visit to the bottom of the bottle with a romantic liaison!
HONOURABLE MENTIONS...
-KING FISH IN THE BOX-now that's a great buy!
-TARGET'S WINE IN A CUBE-not bad, but, a little pricey for the taste.
-VENDANGE-Ok, so, I'm digging in the bottom of the barrel (pun intended!), but, this Chard works when you don't have the cashola to buy the good stuff! You could always mix it in with the Margaritas at Saturday night's poker game party!
-E.MERLO VINYARDS-an ebay merchant(!!) and the most awesomely raw/smooth tasting wine you can find...when you can find it!
I fail to mention, that if you love peppery, buttery, spicey Chards, you can't go wrong with anything from Australia. The Aussies really know how to make a cheap wine taste awesome! AND, can make you go flat out like a lizard flying!!
Let me know about your great Chardonnay finds!
yummy!!!

Concha y Toro makes a red (Carmenere) that's cheap (like $7 at Trader Joe's) and fantastic. I know your article is about chards but I recognized the maker. ;-)
