Benefits of the Kindle
There are three good things that can be said about Amazon's Kindle. It is highly portable. It is wireless. And it is green.
Many years ago, a friend of mine was leaving my home town, Chicago, to build a new house for his wife and his young kid in Puerto Rico. He had one problem: What was he going to do with all of those books that he had accumulated over the years he was in college? He wanted to take all of his books with him. His wife begged to differ. My friend's dilemma was-I'm sure-identical to that of each of us who love books. We want to take our library with us but there is simply not enough space in the house to store all of the books that we want to hold on to. Also, it will be somewhat of a burden dragging all the books around with us each time we move. Well, look up in the sky. It's a bird. No, it's a plane. No, it's.... Amazon Kindle! With Amazon's Kindle, you are no longer faced with those problems: Not knowing what to do with all of those books that you inherited over the years or of having to deal with the challenge of logging a huge amount of books around with you whenever you move or with having a spouse complain that you have too many books and should get rid of some of them. With Amazon's Kindle you can carry your entire library around with you every single day. And what great about that is that Amazon's Kindle is as portable as a paperback book! Now that is just one good thing you can say about Amazon's Kindle.
Another good thing about Amazon's Kindle is that it is wireless. You can go just about anywhere with it as long as you are within the borders of the United States. This means that you are always connected to the Internet. You don't have to find some hot spot or docking station to connect. On the contrary, you are connected to the Internet 24/7. Because of that, you can download a book to your Kindle any time you like. So if you are waiting at your doctor's office for your appointment, you can go online and download a bestseller that you have been planning on reading. Or, if you find yourself in a long line at the grocery, you can do the same thing. Or, if you are off on a trip, again, you can do the same thing. No doubt, you can think of dozens of scenarios where your Kindle could come in handy. Being a wireless e-reader device is yet another good thing that can be said about Amazon's Kindle.
A third good thing you can say about Amazon's Kindle is that it is green, that is, environmentally friendly. Million of trees-one of Nature's Ultimate Sculptures-do not have to be sacrificed so that books as we know them can come into being. Or to put it differently, with Amazon's Kindle, the survival of the flourishing book trading industry doesn't require sucking the blood from millions upon millions of trees. In still other words, Amazon's Kindle doesn't lead, as the present manufacture of books and others reading material do, to deforestation. That is a third good thing that can be said about Amazon's Kindle.
To recap, three things can be said about Amazon's Kindle: It's portable. It's wireless, and it's green.

Hi Lgali, thanks again for reading my article. I glad you liked it. By the way, I just finished reading your article on mushroom rice and was going to poat a comment when I realized that someone--you--had posted a comment about my article. And by the way, as you stated in a prior post on your hub, hubbing is addicting. I agree. I hope to be a hubber for life! Thanks again.
