66Monkey Picked Tea is also called as Tieguanyin. The origin of this tea is from China. The class of the tea is Mammalia and the Species is macaca Mulatta.
This type of tea is rare wild tea and the name Monkey Picked tea has been arrived because the leaves of the tea will be picked up by specially trained monkeys in the remote region mountain in China.
The wild tea was considered as delicious and people trained monkeys to pick the leaves from the wild area of the plantation. Now a days the trained monkey were are died and some small group is left out and they are still continuing these profession and they will not harm any humans.
These monkeys and their ancestors have done specified job and were treated as respected members in their family.
These tea will also be called as Oolong tea or green tea.
