Tips To A Tight Skinny Stomach
First Tip: Eat As Early In The Evening As You Can
Relax, because if you follow this plan, you will have a tight, skinny stomach. You deserve it, you want it and you are going to achieve this goal. The first thing to achieve this goal is to begin watching what you eat, how often and what type of food it is. And, contrary to popular belief, it certainly does matter what time of day that you eat. After early evening, say about 7:00 p.m., anything you eat goes into storage if you retire to sleep a few hours later. Of course, this is a different matter if you stay up all night working or doing some other activity. This will help to reduce the fat around your stomach.
Second Tip: Space Out Your Meals Throughout The Day
So, space out your meals but eat your last meal as early in the evening as you possibly can. Have you ever noticed that the more "late-night" dinners you have or agree to, plus late-night alcoholic drinks begin to substantially add a few pounds on fast! Eat earlier and then meet your friends for a light something later to be sociable. The more often you eat and the smaller portions that you consume when you eat often, the move revved up your metabolism will be and that is a great thing! That is what you want. Think of your metabolism as a fuel-burning furnace and you want to feed this furnace often with low-carbohydate, nutritious food if you want to begin to see a tight, skinny stomach.
Third Tip: Do Some Cardio and Regular Interval Training or Burn Baby Burn
Plan to do some regular cardiovascular exercise coupled with interval training to burn the fat off that flabby stomach. We all know what cardio training is, right? Any fun activity that gets your heartrate up and sustains that heartrate for at least 30 minutes at a time. It could be running, walking, jogging, swimming, aerobic class, step class, bicycle or skipping! What is interval training? Interval training is training on those machines in the gym. If you don't know how, it is time to learn. It is not rocket science. Find someone qualified in the gym to show you around the "circuit" of machines at least once.
Take notes and if you forget what machine works what part of the body and how many repetitions and weight you should use on each machine, write it down. Also, most of these machines have an illustration or drawing on the side to show you how to repeat the movement and what muscle group that you are targeting. If you are really "green" in the weight room, and you can afford it, it would pay you to have at least one or two sessions with a personal trainer to show you "the ropes." And, then stay with the trainer until you feel comfortable and/or you begin to see results or memorize the routine so that you can then do it on your own - your choice.
It is a misconception or myth that you can spot reduce to get a tight, skinny stomach! That is so false! I wish it were true. The truth is to see a tight, skinny stomach you must watch what you eat and drink, do cardio training and interval training to burn fat and build muscle. Both are integral parts of a well-planned strike on that stomach fat.
