Most of us are very nervous in interview session. So what is the secret in order to be success in interview selection ? Here are the secret reveal :

  1. Wear blue dress. This color give impression that you are trustable and competent.
  2. Beware your non verbal communication. It speaks more than a thousand words for the interviewer. Smile when you see the interviewer at the beginning interview session. The first impression always matter. Don't cross your arms or put your hand in the pocket. Keep necessary eye contact. Don't stare interviewer all the time. It will make them insecure. Just look their eye when they ask you about something, but you don't have to always see their eyes when you answer the question.
  3. Count until 2 before you answer the question. It will give you time to take a breath, makes you relax, and you will be able to talk confidently and give proper answer.
  4. Talk fast with enthusiasm. Mostly interviewer will rate higher score for that type of interviewee
  5. Some guideline to answer the questions :
  • Tell me about yourself.......

You should explain your career progression, what you have learn, what your contribution to your former company. Emphasize what you can do for the organization you apply

  • What are your strength ?

You should explain your strength that related to the qualification that they need.

  • What are your weakness

You can explain your weakness. Everybody has weakness. But you should explained how you overcome it

  • Do you have any question about our company ?

Don't ask about your compensation and benefit on the first interview. Its better you did little research about the company and ask more detail about it. Or you can ask about the company culture, career opportunity and training

  • What are you going to be in the next 5 years ?

This is very dangerous question. Sometime they ask this question just to test that you won't leave the company after received training. Just simply answer that you want to be on the managerial position within company that would interest you.

  • Why did you leave your last job ?

Don't say bad thing about your former employer. Don't say you have unresolved conflict. The interviewer tend to judge that you can not handle problem or has personal difficulties. Just say you want career movement or want working near the home, or anything else, beside something related to the personality or the conflict.

  • Why do you want to work here ?

Don't answer that you really need a job. You have to do little research about the company before entering the interview session. Tell the interviewer what you like about the company

And don't talk to much. Your answer should be 2 or 3 minutes. Let the interviewee lead the interview session and get all the best information about you
