I have 9 different media players on my PC and most of you are thinking that's a bit extreme and some of you are already enjoying the benefits of having more than one player.Their are many advantages and reasons of viewing videos on your PC with more than one player.

Some players wont have the appropriate "codecs" which are "codes" that are needed to view videos you have on your PC, which can be downloaded yet sometimes not so easily.. I find V.L.C one of the best players and has never let me down when it comes to having all the right codecs, The only downside to this player it has too much "border" round the edges which take up too much space on the screen and doesn't look so sleek .This is where "Power DVD takes over in sleekness ,its just a shame it can only open up one video at a time. Each player has something better than the other and variety as always is the spice of life.

To view video based content on the web.....You all need WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER W.M.P installed on your PCs and "Real player" and "Quick time player", which are the top 3 commercial players needed to view online content {Video streaming}

In addition to this information some players will use up more processor than others which is another thing to observe of especially when viewing multiple videos and choosing the right player for you..For help in determine how much resources each player is, see here.
