Topslip is an area near Pollachi, Tamil Nadu. It is situated at 800 feet from the sea level in the Anamalai Forest Area.

It lies in the Coimbatore District in Tamilnadu and it is separated from the Nilgiris Hills.

How to Reach:

Nearest Airport and Raliway Station is Coimbatore which is 90 Km to Topslip. After getting down at Coimbatore, there are lot of buses from Coimbatore to Pollachi (which is 60 Km) from Coimbatore and taken an hour drive.

After getting down there there will be buses to Parambikulam (Damsite in Kerala) via topslip (daily 4 buses).

It is suggested that a night halt at Topslip will give you more enjoyable. There are no private buildings in Topslip. All the accomodations are managed by the Forest Department only.

On the travel day, on the way you have to show the booking confirmation and pay the amount at the above address by cash and collect the receipt and proceed to Topslip, which is 35 Km from Pollachi.

There is a checkpost in Sethumadai, where they will allow the vehicle only if the pass is available. From the checkpost the hill area starts and it is 6 Km from there. The roads will not be so fine becuase it's forest area.

After reaching Topslip, there will be Forest Office, where again if you show the payment receipt the room will alloted to you.

There are 4 rooms available as Tree Top which you can really enjoy, for which they are charging Rs.2,500 per day for couple. For additional person Rs.300 will be collected.

Per day means you can occupy the room at 12 Noon and should vacate 10 AM next day.
