Are you willing to communicate your feelings with that person and wait until he or she comes around? 

Be objective and don't have too much of a high expectation. Take it slowly. Fix a time when you both can really talk about this and put everything on the table. No use in hiding your feelings now. If you do, then you will be right back where you are in a few weeks.
