"Ulaga Nayagan" completes 50 Years in Indian Film Industry
60Tamil actor Kamalhassan also known as "Ulaga Nayagan" , "Kadhal Ilavarasan" who has entered the tamil film Industry at the age of 7 in the movie "Kalthur Kannamma" where Gemini Ganesan and Savithri acted in the movie and got released in 1959.
Later as a child artist he has acted with both Shivaji Ganesan and MGR.
After acting for another 5 films as child artist he concentrated on his studies and started continuing as supporting actor for Balachandar movies and the lead role he acted in the movie "Naan Avan Illai".
From 1974 onwards he used to acted in various regional languages and bagged number of Filmfare awards.
In Hindi his first appearance movie "Ek Duje Ke Liye" was a super duper hit and has earned a lot fans and fame in Indian cinema.
Recently he has acted in the movie "Unnai Pol Oruvan" and also dubbed as "Eenaadu" in telugu.
Has he has completed 50 years of Film Industry service, Star Vijay TV has arranged a festival by inviting all the legends of Indian cinema particularly Tamil movie persons and being telecasted in Star Vijay TV.
