Amazing, Creative, Crazy Theme Cake Designs and Decorations

When I found a number of these cakes online, I was amazed, as a number of the the creative cakes didn't even seem to be cakes, and the cake design was so good I wouldn't have known it was a cakeunless I was told. You'll see that when you look at some of the photos.

What most of us wouldn't have done to have one of these novelty cakes at one of our birthday parties or important milestones or occasions.

All of these cake designs express something unique which most of us will identify as soon as we see it, as the theme cakes mirror all sorts of other things in our lives like a movie character of some sort, or maybe something we collect.

In other words, if we enjoyed it in some other form in the past, we'll definitely appreciate it as a designer cake.

This cake designed as a roulette wheel obviously had to take a lot of patience and the cake designer had to have a lot of talent.

Even that downwards slope toward the middle would have challenged me; not even taking into consideration the numbers and design included in this unique cake. I like it.

Now here's a real theme cake for anyone that watched this show. It's called, appropriately the nightmare cake, for obvious reasons. Picture that being made by your inlaws for you wedding. Think they'd be trying to tell you something?

I thought the detail and work of this cake was so awesome, that I put it on larger than some of the others.

It's extraordinary the artistry and creativity applied in these cake decorations. I wonder how much time it took to do this one. However long it took, I'm glad I got to see this tasty cake work of art.

Ok buddy, it looks like you didn't read the fine print or needed to spend a little more time getting to know your fiance. Or maybe this was the day you told her to she wasn't going to get a cent from you.

You're right, hehe, she got all of it.

This wasn't a difficult cake to make, but it was humorous in its own sort of way.

Of course we could ignore the poor guy and talk abou the exquisite design of the flowers on the side ..., never mind.

Now tell me this Wall-E cake isn't amazing. Even when you look at it several times you're not sure it's a cake or a toy sitting there.

The actual inclusion of the marks and wear on his metal make this one one of the best cake decorating ideas I've seen.

The Millenium Falcon says it all. That's as good a choice to represent Star Wars as you could get when cooking it for your favorite fan.

Wouldn't you like the birthday cake recipe for this one, and how they designed it?

On second thought, when looking at those little pieces and how they had to be cooked and added, may I'll leave it to the experts;-)

Now if the words special occasion and extravagnet don't come to mind when you look at this cake, I don't know what cake would make them come to you.

This designer cake ( I can't think of anything else to describe it) is so full of detail, it definitely gives you the impression of being very busy. But even so, it's an very creative cake that had to have been put together by someone with sure hands.

While this crazy and unique novelty cake was very well done, and would have been really difficult to do, you do have to wonder who thinks out loud suddenly, "Oh, I have an inspiration to make a cake of some rats eating a guys' arm.

Who knows the occasion, but you can have the first bite. Really! I don't mind at all.

You've got to look at this one close to see all the parts that make up the whole. While it looks simply in design, it really is more complex than it looks, and the genius is in making it look simple, while being so detailed.

Great cake decorating idea and design.

Being a major Lord of the Rings fan, I can't give an unbiased opinion on this cake, but it is superlative, magnificent, gnarly ( that didn't fit did it). You get the point.

This is a great creative cake decorating idea and designer cake. I can't even begin to imagine the work that went into this.

If it had been made for me, I would've found some way to preserve it. It's just too cool to eat.

Hopefully this gave you a lot of enjoyment and amazement at the creativity that can be applied to cake decorating and the amazing cake ideas floating around out there.

More than that though, these are cakes that want from idea to reality, and the results speak for themselves.
