Travel Hubs Featuring United States Travel Destinations

Traveling is my favorite thing to write about it, and it's one of the things I most enjoy doing in life. That's what I write about most often here on Hubpages, specifically United States travel. Contained here are my travel tips and hubs on the USA, separated by category. I'll update it as soon as I create a new hub. Here you'll find travel tips, hotel recommendations, photos, videos and links to other travel themed websites. Enjoy!

California

I've been to California so many times I've lost track, but I think it's somewhere around 14 times. Living in Massachusetts, it's not a short flight, but well worth it to me. I've been to all of the National Parks in California, as well as most of the state. Here are some of my favorite National Parks that I recommend visiting:

Palm Springs is a place we go back to again and again. Maybe it's the fact that New England barely cracks 80 degrees that keeps me coming back, or the fact that they receive only a handful of cloudy/rainy days a year. It's reliable sunshine all year, and it's a dry heat that's not as humid as the east coast.

My Favorite US Travel Guide

USA (Eyewitness Travel Guides) USA (Eyewitness Travel Guides)
This, above all other guides I have, is my favorite. Not only does it give a good overview of the 50 states, but it's something I reference being from the USA. If I'm looking for a certain tip, or ideas on places to see near a destination I'm headed to, this book is extremely helpful. It's also just small enough for travel, but big enough so that you can see the illustrations and words. The cover is also very durable and holds up to road trip abuse (and I know I can abuse my books on the road sometimes!).

Cape Cod

Cape Cod is a stone's throw away from where I live, so I know it well. My favorite part is the outer Cape, near Truro and Wellfleet. There's so much to see here, you really can't pick a bad town to visit. Here are some of my hubs on Cape Cod:

Road Trips

When possible, I always prefer to drive over fly. Why skip over everything the country has to offer when you can drive it? Yes, it has it's boring parts, but it has some impressive things to see that I can only see by driving there.

Massachusetts

So far, the only Massachusetts hub I've written outside of my Boston Lighthouses hub is my Cape Cod hubs. I plan on writing more down the road, so give it time and they'll be here. I've lived in Massachusetts my whole life, so I know it very well.

More National Parks

This category isn't all that full yet, but it will be soon! I've been to Yellowstone and it was probably my favorite National Park in the country. This hub will give you an idea of some great things to do in the park:
