One of a kind Fashion to inspire Healthy Food

Last night I went to see the movie Food Inc., It was shown in a theater 45 minutes away and there were only six other people watching the movie. I think I have been given the red pill and I am walking around knowing this hidden secret about what we are eating, and what we are wearing. The matrix is a lot scarier in real life.

We have no idea where our clothes or food were made and these are both some of the most intimate detail of our existence and have everything to do with our health. Usually I am so inspired to spread the word and share what I have learned in the latest terrifying documentary. This time I realized I need to take a stand.

As of today I am a vegetarian, I will not wear leather, and I am planting a garden. We are starting an online store called Upcycle Exchange. We specialize in one of a kind vintage clothing and we also take old clothes and upcycle them to be new and improved. This way we have less in the landfills, and more handmade loving energy on our bodies.

Since I started only wearing second-hand clothing I noticed all of the useless items we buy and then throw away. Textiles are just as much of a problem as the next thing in our landfills, and god only know where they are made, and who they are made by, children? Women? Machines?

I realized that fashion and food have a lot in common. They are both exploiting humans, animals, and the environment. Since I stopped buying new clothes my mind has changed and I am more receptive to the story that comes with every piece of vintage clothing. It has allowed me to be more receptive to what comes close to my skin... or even more intrusive...in my stomach.

I invite you to join in the quest to find out where your food and clothes come from.

Who knew fashion would end up changing the way I eat!

julyzanda@yahoo.com is a typical scam meister. Ignore him; Note that I said him ....... yeah, it's a guy behind the whole thing. Rubbish scamster. He's on a lot of dating sites trying to get 'mugs' for his next operation.
