TV Evangelists. Excerpt Chapter 9.

If there is anything on earth that more blatantly illustrates what this entire book is all about, it’s TV evangelists. With out a doubt, the most obviously despicable of all the religious hustlers. Again, I wish I could use a half-century of accumulated cuss words in this chapter. I simply haven’t the decent words that justify my bewilderment, sadness, anger, disgust, and shame.

Let’s see if my thesaurus can conjure up of a few choice expletives:

Exploit, Sanctimonious, Actor, Greedy, Felonious, Plagiarist, Self-Delusional, Rip-Off, Double-Tongued, Omnipotent, Shrewd, Charlatan, Swindler, Maggot, Bogus, Con-Artist, Embezzle, Sly, Illusionist, Deceptive, Criminal, Lowlife, Fleece, Bunco, Fakery, Falsify, Chicanery, Hoax, Flimflam, Hypocritical, Liar, Imposter, Phony, Sham, Steal, Victimize, Crooked, Dishonest, and last but not least, Misleading…

What a great way of making a point huh? Get a pencil and paper and try to use all those words in just one paragraph about Tele-Evangelists. It might take you a couple days but by the time your done you would have long gotten my drift I’m sure.

I might just create another list describing you followers. Without you, these hustlers wouldn’t exist. What the hell, I’m here to make points, not friends...

Accommodating, Foolish, Nut-Case, Domesticated, Mind-Controlled, Benefactor, Dumbed-Down, Beguiled, Subjugated, Ignorant, Blind, Kept, Corralled, Bemused, Devout, Compliant, Dunce, Subordinate, Brainwashed, Followers, Unconscious, Pious, Sheep, Subservient, Mute, Moronic, Voiceless, Absurd, Governable, Idiocy, Mesmerized, Adoring, and Gullible.

I think I’ll do the rest of this book with just word lists. They get right to the point don’t they?

The words in the above list describes you fools that pour millions of dollars into the pockets of these hustling sons-a-bitches day after day and get nothing in return except lies and BS. You people will believe anything won’t you? When you hear no evil, and see no evil, you allow evil to exist don’t you?

Who is to blame here, you cowering sheep? or your charlatan evangelists? Like I said, one wouldn’t exist without the other so you tell me. Collectively, you are a terribly sad and pathetic sight to behold.

I actually knew a lady that knew a lady that sent ten thousand dollars to Jim and Tammy Baker. For this modest sum, she was supposed to be allowed to live at Heritage Village for a week each year, which was still under construction at the time. Needless to say, she got screwed out of her ten grand and her holy sabbaticals to boot.

Jim and Tammy Faye Baker, now there’s a couple of religious mentors to beat the band. You idiots gave this dastardly duo of deception tens of millions of dollars and the last I heard, they’re both still doing the very same thing. Are you stupid as well as blind? Are you all that desperate? I ask you again. How is it these Cretan’s came to be unquestioned authorities on the subject or didn’t you ever bother to ask?
