How to Use the iTunes Music Store
67
The iTunes Music Store is one of the easiest ways to get music, movies and podcasts for your iPhone, iPod or iTouch. Many people do not know how to properly use or utilize iTunes. This is a guide for those people. It will give the basics of how to purchase music and more, along with how to transfer that to your device.
When you open up iTunes, there will be a link for the music store. Click on it, and you will be asked to either login to your account or create a new one. Create a new one, go through all the registration information and if you want to, you can associate a credit card with the account to take advantage of one click purchasing. If you have iTunes gift cards, which can be purchased at a variety of retailers, you can also use these to pay for downloads.
Once you have walked through creating an account, there are several ways to search for content. You can use the search feature at the top of your screen, or you can go through music, movies and other content. This can take some time to find what you want, but you can discover downloads you did not think you would find otherwise. Plus, you could discover new music, podcasts and rentals you might not have thought to download to your iPod or other device. Usually, the search feature is the best way to find the specific content you are looking for.
Try using the iTunes Music Store and see what you can find. You can find free content to train yourself how to use the program as well as how to transfer content to your iPod or iTouch. Many podcasts, in particular, are free to subscribe to and download. You are sure to find one that you would enjoy listening to on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. Try seeing what you can find, how you can use it and whether or not you enjoy the new content by using the iTunes Music Store.
