vet insurance
51Why buy vet Insurance
I am a believer in public health care. The NHS while it is expensive and I'm not saying it couldn't be run better - is a wonderful thing. If I am ill or collapse or have an accident of any kind, a large van with tens of thousands of pounds of equipment operated by two highly trained paramedics come to do their best to help me without a seconds hesitation to see if I could afford the treatment of to take my credit card details. This lack of hesitation saves lives every day. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for our fury friends.
When your animal gets sick, or if your pet (god forbid) has an accident, whether you can afford the potentially life-saving treatment or not comes into question. If you can't afford to pay your vet for his time and for the medicine...
This is an unfortunate situation that does arise every day. This is where insurance comes into play. If you have insurance to cover your animal your vet will have no hesitation in doing whatever is needed to preserve the health and happiness of your pet. You don't have to worry about whether you can afford it, how you would pay it or the things you might have to sacrifice in order to be able to pay the medical bills. You can focus on the important things - your pet.
Getting Vet or Pet insurance in my opinion is an absolute must. It's not that expensive if start paying for it while you pet is in good health, and when the time comes you will be happy you had it. Vet insurance will give you piece of mind - it does for me.
