Why the title for this Hub

It is never too late or too old to learn, I started to Blog in March 2004, two years on today this hub is my sixth blog if you call this hub one.  This hub is for sharing of free software that is available and how to use it.

Google Sketchup -  This is a wonderful 3D drawing software, usually it take months if not years to learn and master a complex 3D software to generate some 3D graphics. With google sketchup it is a matter of days only and you can generated to scale graphics. See the Photo capsule for one of my creation.

First you have to download the software from the link above.

The Windows minimum configuration is as follows :

  • Microsoft Windows® 2000, XP Home or Professional Editions
  • 600 MHz Pentium® III processor
  • 128 MB RAM

     80 MB of available hard-disk space

  • Video card that is 100% OpenGL compliant

     Windows compatible pointing device

  •  Microsoft® Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher

  • Windows® Media Player or QuickTime 5.0 and web browser for multimedia tutorial.

 Mac OS X minimum configuration

Current version: 5.0.296

  • 400 MHz PowerPC™ G4
    • 128 MB RAM
  • 80 MB of available hard-disk space
  • QuickTime 5.0 and web browser for multimedia tutorials
  • Video card that is 100% OpenGL compliant
