Hallo fellow corrupter, hater of all that is pure and good, having a hard time with the rogues? Not quite putting out the damage you have hoped for in raids? Leveling too slow? Fear not, or you should fear, fearing is a very good tactic that requires a lot of skill, but anyways, here are some talent builds for tweaking you warlock to do his/her very best, to satisfy you, your fellow players, and make you hated among your enemies.
Affliction talent builds
Affliction is a very good career choice for PvP that let you stay mobil while keeping DoTs up on your enermies, but it is lacking a little in PvE damage, but overall good in both.
- Unstable Affliction/Shadowburn 45/5/11 PvP - PvE
With this build you get Unstable Affliction, a extra DoT with great damage, and a pain in the ass for dispelling teams. Also points in Destruction and Demonology for Shadow Burn and Demonic Embrace, very good for PvP and duable in PvE.
- Affliction/Demonology build 42/19/0 Farming - PvE
This build is great for farming, but DoT's mixed with the surviability and tanking of Demonology, simply sent pet, apply DoTs, then life tap, and you will be going for the big gold veins, good for raiding too, mana efficient and imp is a great buff.
- Unstable Affliction/Destructive Reach raid build 44/0/17 Raiding
A good raiding build, that especially applies for new to raiding warlocks. A lot of nice buff there will be welcome in raids, keep imp out while keeping DoTs up and spamming shadowbolt in between.

Destruction talent builds
While not enjoying the capability of staying mobile, Destruction can make a huge load of damage with a little bit of luck, and the right talent build, destruction is mainly for Raiding and PvE since it's very mana and health consuming for leveling and solo farming, and have little Crowd Control, and surviability in PvP.
- Fire DS/S&F (0/21/40) - Raiding
Very good for raids and a number one when it comes to raid damage. Very high mana comsuming and little crowd control so it doesn't really work for pvp.
- Firelock PvP Build (7/7/47) PvP - PvE
A build that mix PvP with PvE. A over all good build that have ShadowFury for crowd control, Nether Protection and Soul Leech for surviving a little longer.
- Shadow (28/0/33) - PvP
A 100% pvp spec that takes the best from affliction and destruction, creating a strong cocktail. Use shadowbolt when possible and draining abilities when not, to suppress the opponent all the time and giving him no chance to rest.
Demonology talent builds
Command your personal slaves to do your bidding, great buffs, and a pain in the butt health pool makes demonology a great choice for every warlock that just wants to annoy his opponents into oblivion and beyond. But be aware, many will tell you that demonology is for people without a clue, but pet management can be pretty hard at times.
- Felguard (0/44/17) - raiding
A high dps raiding build.. but be warned, it can be hard and frustrating, managing you felguard can be not so fun at times. But when you get a hang on how to control it, then just spam Shadowbolt and everything should be ohhhright.
- Felguard leveling (20/41/0) leveling - farming
A leveling build, that can be used after level 40 an that gives you, your own personal slave tanker. It's like leveling in a group with a warrior.. just better. And when you hit 70 it will be fantastic for farming gold.
- SL/SL (21/31/0) pvp - arena
I blame this talent build to be why warlocks are so hated, but it is OP in arena, sure it's low damage dealing, but surviability and flexibility are in top, and you will be able to go a long time without dying, frustrating your opponent to tears.
Whatever you choose, choose what you like best.
