Any Internet connection you use utilizes a concept called bandwidth.  In simple terms, bandwidth is the amount of data transferred to and from a computer.  Over time, this bandwidth adds up and can boggle down your connection.  It can slow things down for you, for other users on your network and can eventually send a red flag to your ISP.  Your ISP may then flag your account for excessive bandwidth use.

Watching TV online does not have to put a hamper on your Internet connection.  By monitoring your usage, ensuring you have the proper bandwidth package and are being responsible over the month, you do not have to worry about bandwidth usage.  Take the time to research your options, document your watching habits and then taking the steps to ensure you can always catch up on your favorite shows online.
