See the Water Fuelled Car!

Strictly speaking, a water-fuelled car is one that needs only water to run. However, a modern car that runs purely on water is still very much "on the drawing board" so to speak. Note that we use "modern" as a qualifying term for, in fact, there have been people who were able to run cars on water alone. But the fact remains that such cars are quite rudimentary compared to contemporary cars.

If a water-powered car that is comparable to modern gasoline-powered cars in speed and performance is to be produced, therefore, it will probably entail great expense. Thus, even if a fully water-powered car ever comes out of production and becomes available in the market, it will probably cost you an arm and a leg to buy.

If pure water-fuelled cars are not yet available, what then are people referring to when they say "water-fuelled cars?" Actually, current usage of the term "water-fuelled car" pertains to a water-hybrid car. This is an automobile that can use water for fuel aside from the usual gasoline fuel. Such a car has a power generation system on board that lets it extract power from water.

Benefits of a Water-Fuelled or Water-Hybrid Car

The most obvious benefit comes from the fact that water is more abundant, easier to procure and thus significantly less expensive than gasoline and other petroleum-based products. Thus, a water-fuelled car will save you a lot of money in the long run.

Water is also a very clean and efficient fuel. When water is transformed into gas, the chemical process does not take much energy. And when the gas derived from water is burned, no harmful chemicals and gases are released into the environment. Therefore, driving a water-fuelled car will also help you do your part in the worldwide effort towards a cleaner and greener Earth.

You also have the benefit of saving the expense of buying a new car. You don't need to buy a water-hybrid car. All you really have to do is to build the system and install it in your old car; you therefore don’t have to let your perfectly good car go just because you want to do your part in saving Mother Earth.
