SEO or Search engine optimisation is actually a very vast area of discussion, too big to be contained in just this hub. But I will try to guide you to my level best. 

First of all, you must have an idea on the topic you actually want to write on. Give the names that suits the best for the hub. Write on relevant topics that (you are sure)  will interest others ( and of course, which is NOT something that is concerned with making money online. There are many other topics on which you can write.

If you think of blogging, you must have an established blog on a topic about which you are sure you want to write. Just pick up a particular topic, research on it and prepare writeups. Don't worry about your language - it will develop on its own as time passes by.

Be sure enough to include the keywords in the title of the hub/ blog post. You should also scatter enough keywords in the material you post , but avoid sprinkling too much of keywords in your work. Remember that you are writing for some real-world viewers and not just for the sake of blogging. If you want to attract more people to your page, be true to yourself and post something original. Your pages will be ranked better. 

Try to include the keywords in the url also. While creating new hubs, replace the '-' between the words that make up the url address with underscores. That will help your page to be given some sort of priority. If you din't get the point, just have a look at this page's url and you will get it. Try including the main keywords in the url also for better results. Give appropriate tags both for your text and photos used. Allign the photos in an attractive way ( preferably to the right of your text field.

Make use of bookmarking sites like DIGG or Del.ici.ious or Reddit.. Social networking sites can also help you gain more traffic to your pages.

Visit others' hubs also and post comments in those hubs that you like. Indulge in discussions with fellow hubbers. Encourage other hubbers to give you suggestions about your work.

Back to talk about blogging, you should keep on writing something everyday in your blog. Search engines automatically rank your page better when they find out that your pages have something new posted everyday. Signing off emails and comments in social networking sites will help you gain more traffic to your site.
