- Decrease the number of images,script and css calls there are
- Optimize image size. Keep them as small as possible
- Move css into the head area of your pages
- Move script to the bottom of the page where possible
- Where using dynamic web pages - don't concentrate on making your html page load in 20ms. Concentrate on the big picture
- Keep the number of html tags on a page to a minimum
- Set expires headers on content
