Every webmaster’s dream is to get instant traffic to their website. The problem is, many of them go about it the wrong way. Some webmasters think all they have to do is post to a couple of blogs, write two articles and send them to the article directories and that will get them a boat-load of traffic. This could not be any further from the truth. It takes HARD WORK! While I will admit, getting 1000 quality visits to your website is not easy, it is possible. Here is some quick tips on getting 1000 visitors or more to your website.

1.       Hubsites- For those of you who don’t use Hubsites as a traffic tool, I feel sorry for you. Hubsites are the best thing since sliced bread. Hubsites is the best alternative to the traditional methods of article marketing.  Hubsites usually already have a high page rank, thus making your links more valuable and search-able to search engines. You can write about anything you want, and the rules are not as strict with hubsites as with article directories. Plus, you can write an article and get it indexed in less than a day. With article marketing, it can take up to a week before articles are published and index. The key to getting traffic with your hubsites is interlinking them.

2.       Article Sites- Article sites are similar to hubsites, in which you write an article that contains a link to your website, and it is published rather instantly. However, article sites are a little different than hubsites, as they also offer you a monetary payment for page views such as Ehow, Associated Content and Helium.

3.       Forums- Forums is one of the easiest and most effective ways to build backlinks. Backlinks are important for not only search engine traffic, but is used to determine the value of a website. All you have to do is join a high traffic forum and edit your signature. Add the anchor text and url link; every time you add a comment or post on the forum, your signature will instantly be added without any extra work! For this method to work, you should make at least 50 post.

4.       Facebook- Facebook is free and can be used as a marketing tool. They just added a new feature called, ‘status updates’, which sort of works like Twitter. It is quite easier than Twitter to find friends, as you can customize their age, demographics, and network. Since ‘Facebook’ also has the ‘Dofollow’ tag, you can add the link of your website in your status updates. Someone will more than likely click on your link, thus leading to a sale!

5.       Multiple Blog Posting- This is probably one of the most tedious methods. If you don’t want to post your articles on hubsites, you can use them on your own blog. Make sure to interlink the post in order to gain more traffic in the search engines. Interlinking blog post will also get all the pages indexed faster. You can either outsource your article writing services or you could use an article spinner (which I would not recommend since most of them spit out garbage content).
