Well I sit here and listened to all this noise about the health insurance bill. Because this is more about health insurance then about healthcare. The end result is that we will all be hood winked into giving the insurance more of our money. So we all lose at the start. First let me explain my problem we are sitting here arguing over something that should have been done years ago. We have been through the last forty years and everybody suffers with the high cost of health care, and the bad doctoring and things have not changed.

They had forty years to add tort reform, they had forty years for the insurance companies to compete, and for the market to take charge and create competition and it haven’t happened, Why? because they don’t want it to, just like they don’t want a healthcare package to pass at all.

Let me let you in on a little secret, the insurance companies are also ripping the doctors off, they are the ones making all that money on the million dollar policies.

Now I don’t want to harp on the past but the same people crying foul are the same people that have had the chance to make changes from the get go. The fail to because in their neck of the woods everything is hooky dory. They did not watch a doctor kill their grandmother by prescribing a bad prescription. I have seen older Americans that take twenty and thirty pills a day. Don’t get me wrong I know there are good doctors, it would just be nice to get to see some of them. Because in my price range there are few and far in between.

If we do nothing we get the same thing we have always received. People are so worried about the government being in the middle of health care that they have forgot that one in every three people in the united states is in some form of government health care. If you don’t believe that then count every one in the federal, and local governments, then theirs the military, the security system, like CIA, FBI and all the federal, state and local police force. So if you count the numbers we are in the center of Government healthcare.

It not perfect but it seems to work, now I laughed because on one hand they say let the competition have its course, let the market create the competition, but on the other hand they say let us cap the amount a person can sue if a doctor injure them, oh that will cut cost. You say you don’t want someone making your health care decisions and controlling your access. Well that is just what the insurance company is doing.

All these great ideas, where have they been the last 30 or 40 years. We have had about six presidents and none of the ideas ever came out. Now I’m not saying this is the right plan. But if your not offering any other plan, you are just as much a part of the problem. Yeah I said it.

Where was the family research council when they were creating a whole new home land security are maybe that not big intrusive government, I guessed that is something we missed in the constitution. Now maybe I’m wrong but if a doctor misses up, the least he can do is pay. He is going to make you pay. Now I said all that to say this, You had the chance to change all kinds of this, yet you started two wars, increased the size of government, collapsed the economy with your greed and now your crying because you losing a game you created. We all I have to say is you reap what you sow. But that’s just my opinion.
