What Is Zazzle
60What Is Zazzle?
Zazzle is an on demand manufacturing service, what this means is that a product is created when the customer places an order and with Zazzle the product is shipped within 24 hours. What Zazzle, RedBubble, Lulu, DeviantArt, Greeting Card Universe (GCU), Cafepress, WallHog, have done is use advances in manufacturing technology to allow regular folks like you and me to reproduce their artwork, photos and writings on posters, prints, mugs, hats, t shirts, aprons, bags, keychains..., well you get the point.
The Zazzle system allows you to upload your work to the Zazzle servers, either directly through their web site using your browser or through an upload application which you can download from the Zazzle members area. Once you have uploaded your content you select which items you want to reproduce your creations on using various tools available to the user in the product creation section.
You keep full ownership rights on your content and you can use it where ever you want, when ever you want; which means that you can upload the same content to the other sites mentioned above and create other products there also.
Zazzle also includes an end user customization option that you can enable to let customers modify a product you have created. This is a neat feature since it increase the likelihood of a sale If you don't enable this option a customer can not modify your work, but you can modify your work anytime you choose.
The best part about Zazzle and the other systems is that it's completely free, it doesn't cost you a thing to produce a product from your design(s); as a result Zazzle pays you a royalty for every item sold, but allows you to determine how large a royalty you want to receive, up to 80%. Also depending on how many sales you generate there is a tiered bonus program that pays you extra cash on top of your earned royalty.
You don't have to be a photographer or artist to upload and start creating products, if you have something you want to share with the world or you want to produce for yourself, family and friends open a free account and start uploading your content today!

Thanks alot. Do you have personal experience with Zazzle? If so, can you tell me what the long term quality is for t-shirts and things of that nature? Cafepress tends to look really good initially, but it fades rather quickly, which isn't good for future business.
