Yoga 4 Mind & Soul

Yoga as we know is a form of meditation. It has been a living testimony from the past till present, from the rags to riches, that yoga has given miraculous results in different phases of life. It not only soothes one's mind but also refreshes one's soul. Various asanas of yoga helps one gain energy and relax one's mind.

Best of all, yoga suits all age groups, color, caste, creed, or religion. Though it originated in Eastern countries, but now-a-days, even European countries are adopting various methods of yoga for the treatments of various illnesses, like BP, hypertension, hypotension, back pain, improving vision, etc. and it has given miraculous results.

Yoga has innumerable benefits to explain. It brings down stress and enhances powers of relaxation. It boosts physical strength, stamina , and flexibility. Yoga inculcates impulse control and helps in rehabilitation of old and new injuries. It enhances muscle tone as well as improves blood circulation.

With various asanas, one can get rid of acidity, allergies, Alzheimer, back pain, dementia, menopause, muscle cramps, obesity, osteoporosis, sleep apnea, etc.

Now-a-days youth are rushing towards gym etc. but what I feel is, yoga is a better option to make one healthier not only muscularly but also spiritually as well as internally.

Different types of asanas have different benefits: (1) Seated asanas (2) Standing asanas (3) Counter asanas (4) Balancing asanas (5) Twists (6) Inversions (7) Forward & Backward bends.

To know more about these asanas or anything else, do write to me..............

Thanks for the useful info on yoga and meditation techniques. Can you tell which asan can I do to remove spectacles as I am a transcriptionist by profession and I am on computer for around 10 hours in a day and do not want to decrease my visual acuity. Please suggest some good yoga workouts to me.
