Where can I Buy an iPod at Wholesale?
68
Finding a source to buy iPod at wholesale can be challenging. The best course of action is to find several sources for your iPods so that if one dries up, you aren't left with nothing.
Unfortunately, finding a good quality source for your iPod's isn't as easy as you might think. Wholesalers are not exactly pulling out the stops to get your business. They have large retailer orders that they do just fine with so you will have to go and find them.
It takes a lot of research to find honest, dependable wholesale sources. The obvious place to start are the big search engines. Run a keyword search something like "wholesale"+"iPod" and see what comes up. Also, try variations on the word ipod or add the word lots too wholesale. You can get a lo of different source listings this way.

Ebay is a Great Place to Start Looking
Ebay can provide some fabulous wholesale buys also. In fact, there is an entire category dedicated solely to wholesale lots! Just search for the product you are looking for with the keyword 'wholesale' or 'lot' in the search string.
Othe Places to find iPods at Wholesale Prices
If your still not able to find a good source for your iPods, why not try a online wholesale directory? A good online wholesale directory will do the grunt work of researching wholesale suppliers for you and if the supplier doesn't pass muster, they don't recommend them.
The different sources that wholesale directories review and recommend are:
- Wholesalers
- Dropshippers
- Liquidators
- Manufacturers
Having a list of safe product sources to work from not only saves you research time, it allows you to go straight to searching for the best price. I like to look at liquidators for this. Liquidators often sell well below wholesale as they are more motivated to move their merchandise.
Things to Watchout for When Buying iPods Wholesale
Here are a few red flag items that you want to be cautious about:
- Beware Chinese Wholesalers. The last I checked, Apple doesn't export iPods to the far east. If a wholesaler from there is advertising great deals on any Apple product, I would definitely stay clear. What you would probably get is a knockoff that has nothing to do with Apple.
- Use some kind of secured payment. Never under any circumstance should you use Western Union for these kinds of transactions. Scam artists have plagued Western Union for some time now, so beware. I'd recommend Escrow.com myself but there are other ways as well. Just be sure your able to get your money back if you are not satisfied with your merchandise.
- Cut out the Brokers. There is absolutely no need to deal with a broker. They are just a middleman that will drive up your prices.
