Almost everyone must have seen a typical boxer dog but have you ever seen white boxer dogs? Typical boxer dogs are generally a stocky breed who are shiny with medium sized body, short and smooth haired coat which can be brindle or fawn coloured without any marks. However you must have also come across a few boxer dogs that have a white bellies with markings on their paws. These white markings on their paws are called as flash as the coloration can also appear on the face and neck of the dog. These dogs are generally called as flashy dogs. If you come across a boxer dog who has a white coat on two thirds of its body is called as white boxer dogs. There are nearly 25 percent of boxer dogs who care born with these white markings but this dog breed cannot be categorized as the albino. If you need to purchase a boxer dog there area few considerations you should take before deciding for white boxer dogs.  

 Similar to the problems that are suffered by light colourd humans these white boxer dogs also suffer from a few problems. These dogs are generally high threat for skin cancers and sunburns along with other health disorders. The boxer dogs usually have a piebald gene which is responsible for two main things among the white boxer dogs. Firstly they are responsible for the extra white pigments on the boxer dogs and secondly they are also blamed for the deafness defect which causes in them at birth. The hearing nerve cells generally get damages and due to this you will find most of the white boxer dogs with a deafness defect right from their birth.  

 During the earlier times these white boxer puppies were even killed right when they were born but now the time has changed for good. The breeders now place these white boxer dogs in special pet homes with certain requirements that include neutering. Most of the boxer dog clubs generally do not include these white dogs with their breeding programs including the compliance and dexterity. These dogs are same when competing with their brindle and fawn counterparts and it does not mean the breed.  

 The white boxer dogs also don’t get out of dealing with their disease like the brindle and fawn dogs usually deal with. These dogs can still suffer from hypothyroidism, degenerative myelopathy, hip dysplasia, boxer cardiomyopathy and SAS. There are also more commonly inherited conditions by boxer dogs which are like intestinal problems, allergies and gastric dilatation. The white boxer dogs can also have the problem called eyelid deformity or called as entropion.  

 There are also some issues where the white boxer dogs have diagnosed to have spondylosis deformans which means that the spine is fused. With this main reason make sure that you purchase a boxer dog from a well known and reputable breeder. They would be very conscientious about the dogs and would also have specified several tests before lending the boxer puppy. White boxer dogs are not very much preferred by people as home pets due to their risky health factors.
