White Bras Are A Must Under Light Coloured Clothes

White bras are a must have underwear item for wearing under light coloured clothes. It's unsightly to see dark underwear under light colours. I wear mainly dark coloured clothes, but this summer I bought a lot of light coloured items for a change. Problem was, I didn't own any white bras.

I hadn't taken into account that because I was buying light stuff, that I would have to buy some white bras too. It was only when I went to wear a light coloured item one day that I realised I couldn't, unless I wanted to show my underwear off to everyone. No thanks!

So I went in search of good white bras and found that there was a great selection for every bust size and style needed.

Underwired White Bras

While underwired bras may be a no no for some, despite the occasional discomfort they can provide, these are my bra style of choice and have been for years. They just seem to fit better on me and give a better shape than other styles.

It's not recommended that girls who are still developing wear underwired bras as it can affect the natural shape whilst still growing. But for women who are fully developed there's no problem. Underwired bras give great support and shape and can be worn under any type of clothing.

If you haven't worn an underwired bra before, it can take a bit of getting used to!

No Wire White Bras

The comfy option! It's interesting to see that on Amazon, all the top rated white bras reviewed by customers are all quite plain and with comfort seemingly coming first and foremost. For anyone looking for something a bit sexier, those white bras are below.

There's a non wire bra to suit every size and at least with this style you know for sure that you won't move a certain way and get poked by the wire. Underwired or no wire, it's a matter of personal preference.

If it's comfort you're looking for from a bra, go with no wire, they still support well, just without the torture device!

White Sports Bras

If you're active in any sport then you definitely need a sports bra to keep everything where it should be!

I used to play a lot of tennis when I was younger and without a sports bra I could have done myself some serious damage. They're a must have item for women who partake in sports and without one not only can you damage the area by movement, you can also encourage sagging of the skin which long term could result in a bust that has lost it's firmness and perkability.

Rather buy a sports bra than a corrective boob job any day!

White Strapless Bras

If we're looking at white bras as a way to wear light clothing, then we must also look at strapless bras to be worn under off the shoulder tops and dresses. It does not look good when bra straps are showing on otherwise bare shoulders, it looks tacky.

I've always thought that strapless bras are quite sexy, I'm not sure why except for the fact that I like the way my shoulders look when they're bare.

If you're going to wear an off the shoulder outfit, a strapless bra really is a must have piece of underwear.

White Bras With Detail

If you want something slightly prettier and with a bit of detail, here's some options. Sometimes it's not about comfort but about wanting a bra that not only does it's job in support and shape, but looks pretty and makes you feel good wearing it.

White bras can go off colour very easily in the wash if you don't look after them properly. I find that as they don't really get dirty and don't need to be cleaned, but more refreshed, in order to keep my white bras looking like new I just wash them out with a light detergent in a washing bowl and hang them to dry. It only takes a minute to do and removes any risk of colour runs.
