Why run your car on water ?

With fuel prices in North America reaching new heights all the time. Why not look outside the box and try HHO. Now your probably wondering if it actually works and how. Well its quite simple and I will give you a quick overview. Im also going to talk about other fuel saving methods.

How Does Water+Gas Work?

When building an HHO unit to put on your car, you must understand that it is making a combustible gas. You just simply tap into this gas thats created by boiling water ( no not steam ) and plumb it into your cars intake. Where it mixes with the gasoline. If your car is fuel injected your HO2S will recognize a rich mixture and turn down the fuel coming throught the injectors. Of course its alot more complicated than that with computers on your car reading from many many different sensors. But thats a very basic of how the run your car on water works with HHO.

What Is HHO?

HHO is also called Hydroxy or Browns Gas, it is very flammable and is made from boiling water via electrity and copper plates. You can use this stuff to make a torch if you wanted.

When filling up with gas, make sure to check your tire pressure, WHY?

Your tires are a rolling resistance, if they are underinflated, it takes more energy to roll them down the road. Fill em up to max. pressure for best economy. The max pressure will be in small letters on your tire.

Get a Tune Up To Save Fuel

By changing you spark plugs and fuel filter, your going to increase mileage. Simply put, if your spark plugs, plug wires and distributor cap and rotor (if your car is older ) are worn out, they will not burn the fuel completely, therefore giving you an incomplete fuel burn and less power and worse fuel mileage.

Roll Down the Windows vs Air Conditioning

This battle will go on forever, in some cars it will say using the A/C is better for fuel economy than rolling down the windows. I guess that all depends on the vehicle and aerodynamics. I saw an episode of Myth Busters and they showed the Ford was better with the windows rolled down. But I was unpleased with their test. And thats a whole other story.

Dont Use Unecessary Electricity While Driving

Were talking the stingiest of tiniest margins here, but if you want to shut your A/C off to save a few pennies, why not make the load on your alternator / generator less. In turn potentially saving you 1/10th of a percent / MPG.

If Your Serious and Dont Have The Money For a Hybrid

Does the water and gas combination work? YES and it will save you money, I have seen it in person. It was on a 2005 Ford F150 and he used about 45% less fuel on the first test. I have not spoken to him since, but it worked right out of the gate. So if your going to go through the effort of squeezing every last Mile out of your gas or diesel, then do consider converting it to HHO or Browns Gas or Hydroxy.
