why we should have children
74
dont avoid or postpone child birth
i am deeply disturbed by the present day trend of avoiding children in pursuit of material gains, freedom, mutliple partners and maximum comfort and globetrotting ways
most often it is assumed that bearing children and rearing children is a nuisance we can do away with
some argue that it is too costly to bring up children
just imagine that you want to have a nice pet dog. that would cost you more-but may be more fashionable so people still consider having a pet
the very meaning of our existence
we are born into this world to procreate species and propogate them
not to play soccer or party with friends or invent or be preoccupied with a computer through out our lives.
we dont even need electricity and energy except positive energy from a child's babble and a baby's laughter
how long does it takes to get pregnant
statistics from the human ferilisation and embryology authority show
lucky ones- 30 percent-within a month of starting to try
ok ones -75 percent within a period of six months
90 percent concieve within a year
95 percent within two years
why some do not get pregnant easily
- it is a common knowledge that intercourse three days before ovulation and three days after ovulation will lead to pregnancy
- the sperm can live upto two days and last upto five days alive
- but people easily get confused with the safe period to avoid pregnancy and the three days days rule around ovulation is also confused with menstruation
- also generally females are in the mood for sex and intercourse only just before during and immediately after menstrual periods. they physically and emotionally need intimacy only then and that is when most of the act happens for some
- males forget birthdays anniverseries and menstrual dates of their wife and partners
- forty percent males cannot due to some problem or other, forty percent females cannot and in 20 percent both males and females cannot -so they need medical help
- diabetes , hypertension, erectile dysfunction, oligospermia.polycystic ovarian disease. pituitary umours all interfere and not exactly prevent whic means there is a chance if precautionary measures are undertaken well in advance
some common reasons cited to delay child birth
- career
- rebellious attitude against societal expectatons of women
- right age?
- right partner?
- right time in career?
- financial support?
- care taker for child?
- shunning responsbility
- lack of time
- combine career and motherhood?
what is life without a child?
- life is not worth without a child .
- a female human is he only mammal with reproductive cycles all
- through the year on a regular basis.
- money will follow but child will not follow successful career
- we are genetically programmed to have children
- we are deprived of parenthood which wil make you fond of your own parents and the pain they have taken to bring you up
- a child make you complete and your life complete
- after forty the chances of fetility is less
- after 28 years a femal who concieves is called elderly primi and is bound to have problems
- after 30 years there are chances for miscarriages and genetic defects
is it wise to prevent or postpone child birth?
scientific evidence points to the fact that there are multiple problems in nulliparous though i wish not to enlist.
it is always wise to get a child as early as possible because the younger you are the healthier your off spring and genes will be.

I love chidren and definatly having one has saved my life, but what does get me down is after having her I realized the world I brought her into. I think that should be on the list of reason people are hesitant to have children these days.
Wonderful subject to address... thank you for speaking up on that which is relevant to life itself!

Great hub! I understand that some countries have to control birth rates due to over population :( but it´s also true that most of the countries are getting "old" and couples are having less childs and at older ages.
Childrens are the seeds for future love! Lets "plant" them!
Bottom line - if someone doesn't want children they shouldn't be guilted into it by society, friends or family. What difference does it make if your neighbor doesn't have kids? It's not your life. Personally, I have 3, and love 'em to death. Very good conversation-sparking hub! =)
The worst thing someone can do is have children when they dont want them, what kind of parent will they make! That is surely not fair on the children.
It seems that much of your argument is based on your own opinions. I'm 23 and happily married and I know that if I had a child my husband and I would make great parents but we don't want children and THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT! It's more selfish to bring a baby into this world if you don't really want to be a parent. To each their own but personally I feel it would be a huge burden.
