Why You Should Fix Your Pets
64
Did you know that one unfixed cat can produce up to 36,000 other cats in 6 years!!! A HUGE problem today not to mention a burden on shelters.
Heartless people dump unwanted new born kittens and puppies all the time, leaving them to die of hunger, in horrible conditions and to suffer needlessly because they didn't care enough to get their pets fixed. Why not pay to get your dog or cat fixed, help end this suffering and help control the overpopulation of pets?
Everytime a new dog or cat is born a homeless one looses it chances of a good life and a loving home.
Nationwide more than 3 million cats and dogs are euthanized each year. Often they are the offspring of unfixed family pets, even purebreds. Maybe your dog or cat got out 'one time' or maybe the litter was unfortunately intentional or maybe you wanted to see the cute little offspring. It's not so cute what may happen to them because you didn't care enough.
Their offspring may be used to create more unwanted animals by selfish breeders in it for greed, they may even end up in horrible living conditions and abusive homes. Some may be dumped when they prove to be too much work or make too much noise.
This doesn't mean that you would ever neglect an animal or cause suffering to an animal but by not fixing your pets, your pets offspring or their offspring have a good chance of experiencing this. You may unintentionally be causing this and are part of the problem if you do not fix your pets.
Pets given away for free, given as gifts or abandoned pets are most at risk for these conditions.
Each year innocent pets fall victim to neglect and abuse, or end up in shelters in search of a good 'real' loving home. They wait emotionally hurt, scared and unloved. Most animals have more feelings then humans. Not a way to live.
Female pets that have been spayed do not go into 'heat'. You won't have to deal with the mess that comes with the female reproductive cycle or noisy male suitors. Most cats when not fixed will spray or urinate in your home.
Spaying and neutering may also reduce the risk of certain health problems and improves behavior in cats and dogs.
Spaying and neutering your pets is the BEST thing you can do for it and all the other pets out their! Please be a responsible owner and spay or neuter all your pets!
Never buy or acquire an animal if you can't afford to spay or neuter it.
Always check out your local shelter before acquiring your pet elsewhere.
If you see or suspect animal abuse or neglect please speak for them and contact your local Humane Society or call the Police.

Domesticated dogs and cats are completely dependent on humans. It is our responsibility as to
ensure that the number of companion animals born does not exceed the number of available homes. well, it has. There is nothing natural about suffering, being homeless and neglect.
All animals have the right to have one litter
Spaying a female cat or dog before she goes into heat even once will greatly reduce her risk of developing
mammary, ovarian and uterine cancer. It does not make male animals less of a man! I am sure he would rather there not be an over-population problem leading to these terrible situations for his friends anyway. So why would you?
