she had to first give the flour and oil that she had
then God did a mighty miracle.
When Jesus was asked to feed 5000 people
a young boy had to first bring his 5 loaves and 2 fishes
then God performed a mighty miracle.
God is greatly moved by your faith and the sowing of your seed
First be a doer of the Word and fulfill your part
Give money to strangers, orphans and widows
and you will have guaranteed success.
When you obey Psalm 41 and your heart is filled with God's love
you will experience mighty miracles and abundant blessings.

Very true. First you must have faith When you see the poor, you cannot just bless them and send them away empty handed.
Faith without works is dead, "Even so faith, if it hath not works is dead, being alone. (v.20) But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? (v.26) For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also" (James 2:17, 20, 26).
