Unless you have been living in a bush for the past few years, you may not have heard of any, or the many of the "Wiki" world's of information on the Internet which has been written and contributed to, by its millions of readers. Wikipedia is the most popular and huge online encyclopedia.

What does wiki mean?

The word "wiki" is software that allows anyone to create, edit, and organize the contents of a website. The most popular being Wikipedia.

Wikipedia is made up of the words wiki, from "wicked" which means very bad, but is also slang for "good" and "pedia" from from Encyclo"pedia".

All these sites can be edited by you! Users can improve the accuracy of the AskWiki engine via the categorization feedback mechanism. Members of the Wiki Community are encouraged to expand upon correct answer articles and correct the incorrect or uncertain ones, re-categorizing the articles as they are updated. You can join and start writing on any topic not yet covered, or edit an article that someone else has started to help build collaborative learning projects and communities.

Great hub! It's true you can view some pages in Croatian and many other languages. I even found a Croatian blogger Kresimir Misak who has his own blog on vecernji.hr that focuses on UFO but he didn't post much info on himself. It's amazing what you can find in Wiki.

There are many other wikis..any one can create a website called wikihubpages for example or get the wiki software and try and replicate the pros!!!

i only deal in the real wicked wikis!!

Anyone CAN edit the contents, including you!All articles that are incorrect, offensive etc are removed very quickly!!  I find these recourse sites the best form of education and Information on the net! (other than my articles:) on the net!
