Windows Live Messenger is a popular instant messaging software created by Microsoft. It is part of the MSN network and was originally known as the MSN Messenger. When a user logs on, that folder will transfer to there computer; if a file or folder is deleted, it was also be deleted from the user's computer that it was originally transferred to.
Another add-on, Windows Live Call seeks to compete with popular service Skype. It allows users to make PC to PC calls. It will also allow you to make PC to phone calls by using the Verizon Wireless network. The program has also teamed up with Yahoo to provide Windows Live users that chance to utilize one program to talk to both MSN and Yahoo members. There are many add-ons that can be integrated both from Microsoft's web site along with third-party web sites to make functionality for the program a more personalized experience.
Overall, Windows Live Messenger is a solid, secure instant messaging program.
